Let’s get to the juicy part first: last week’s Show & Tell!
Natasha’s Pezzy Print quilt was quite a hit! Look at those fun little boxes. Natasha made this out of a layer cake and white solid and my, doesn’t it look amazing?
Claire was working on binding a commissioned baby quilt. Everyone loved the sweet animal print and the scrappy binding! What a lovely, snuggly quilt…what a lucky baby!
Jenn brought in her Washi Windows top. Such bright colors!
While Sel is doing colorful 6-point EPP stars from her stash.
It was a good day last Saturday, full of heaps of giggling, stash-showing, and talking over our group quilt patterns for our Quilt & Craft Fair exhibitions. You heard us right: we’re going to exhibit this year! We are still waiting on permissions for our patterns, so we’d prefer not to talk about them here just yet, but come along to one of the meetings & we’ll have a chat informally about what we hope to do!
Tomorrow evening (Thursday, 25 October) is another Sit & Sew at City Extra, Circular Quay – we’ll be there from 5:30pm. Drop in and say hi! We are probably going to be chowing down on milkshakes and talking about Quilt Market. 🙂
Cheers! See you soon!
